The Animal Care Organization (TACO) is an initiative by Anil Agarwal Foundation that envisions giving the best care and facilities to the animals. We aim to establish best-in-class facilities for animals in need of care, help, and shelter, while also upskilling professionals via academic and training programmes, and creating a sustainable and scalable ecosystem for animal welfare based on One Health principles. Our vision is of a compassionate India in which all animals enjoy the Five Freedoms established in the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare (UDAW), to which India is a signatory.
