WhoYou is the world's first pull-oriented connection application. All social media today is push-oriented, meaning users are pushing their opinions, politics, humor and more onto one another. With WhoYou, users pull the information that they're interested in out from one another, creating positive, value-added interactions. How it Works: 1. A user sets their geographic area and searches for a word or phrase. They can also add connotation to their search to give it specificity. 2. If another user in their area is searching for the same word or phrase, their profile will appear (a little bio, pictures, other searches). 3. The original user can take a look at another user's profile and then send them a message. 4. The receiver can preview the message before they accept it. 5. If they do accept the message, a conversation can begin! Here’s a quick example; you set your area for 10 miles and search for “Beach”. You can add specificity to your search by adding “I'd like to visit…” Anyone else searching for “Beach” within 10 miles will appear. You can then look at their profile and if you like what you see, you can send them a message. If they accept, you can start chatting!
