Direct One is a Romanian independent company, privately owned that has developed its own national wide high capacity network and the first Content Delivery Network with more than 70 PoP's (Points of Presence) across Romania. The offering includes dark fiber and capacity services for wholesale customers and video management services to content owners and publishers. Being aware of the fact that the convergence of Telecom, Media and Entertainment are still in a formative stage in Romania, we have already implemented several online broadcasting solutions for the major TV stations in Romania, giving a kick-start for the emergence of New Media.
