Having worked as a marketing professional while watching her husband pursue various entrepreneurial ventures over the past decade, Katie approached Darton with a question she never thought she’d ask: what if we started our own business venture together? Having witnessed firsthand Katie’s success in helping small and medium-sized companies strategize and implement effective marketing initiatives, Darton realized that her experience, combined with his 15 years of entrepreneurship experience, would be a solid foundation for getting a new venture off the ground. As two people who have been described by family and friends as bringing a lot of “passion” into all they do, they knew they wanted to incorporate the word passion into their business name. Inspired by their Scottish heritage and a recent trip to Rose Castle (background photo), they decided on “Dian” (Dee-ON), the Scottish word for “passionate.”  Guided by their core belief that communication is key -- in business and in life -- they are truly passionate about what they do, helping small and medium-sized companies grow their business through technology and digital marketing communication channels.
