Moore Insurance agency, David Garrison Insurance, Trusdale Insurance, Bart Iddins Insurance and Shipley Insurance that consolidated to form Carriage Hill Insurance. In 1990 Carriage Hill formed a partnership with Insurance House/ Bill Anderson to market growth potential with the combined agencies: The office was moved to Baum Drive in Knoxville. In 1995 current partner William Smiley and H. Chris Wampler formed a corporation combining Smiley Insurance agency with Carriage Hill Insurance. The agency then moved to Lenoir City/ Loudon County in 1997. Carriage Hill Insurance Agency is a full line independent Insurance agency with capability of insuring all types of risk. A priority, since 1997, has been placed on Financial Services (Group health, life disability, dental, voluntary products). Currently employing 5 employees with a combined insurance industry experience of 118 years, our operating hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. At Carriage Hill Insurance, we work on humanitarian principles. To us, that means being there, emotionally and financially, for a customer who has suffered a loss. And it means responding to the needs of the community when disaster strikes, with money and volunteers. We don’t view ourselves simply as a business in a particular community. We view ourselves as a vital part of the community, helping to protect families and businesses that make the community what it is. Not only do we believe that insurance is important to everybody, we have gone one step ahead. We have devised insurance plans that suit every income group.
