Each couple presents a unique, creative opportunity to take the seeds of an idea and nurture them into a full-blown event! Origins of The Ginger Bee: 2014 launched the beginning of Ginger Bee Events & Planning. This business is the culmination of many dreams and plans built up over at least five years of trying to find my next career and the career that would make me excited to come to work every day. After having helped every good friend in some way with their wedding or another as well as planning parties and showers I realized this was the path for me. My background is in Structural Engineering and I was in the industry for 7 years before I took the plunge into event planning. The change in industry sounds a little crazy to some people but I surprise everyone with how well my skills from engineering are so applicable to planning events. My goal, as a planner, is to provide an experience for my clients that, in its barest form, is: organized, efficient, budget-conscious, unique, and fun. I will stand out amongst other planners because of my swift, effective, and frank communication as well as my technical background and sweet disposition.
