We have created a strong voice for everyone who has an interest in protecting the future of classic and historic vehicles. We continue to engage and grow relationships with the key decision makers to ensure that there is a viable future for us all. We need your support to enable us to do more and become a stronger voice on your behalf. We are open to membership for those organisations active in the historic and classic vehicles sector and their customers, the owners and enthusiasts. We are working on a range of actions that continue to evolve. These currently include: * Working with the DVLA as founders of the Historic Vehicles Working Group to ensure ease and consistency of classic vehicle registration * Responding to government legislation consultations E.g. DFT consultation on the future of vehicles. * Working to ease the impact of Brexit changes. E.g. the temporary importation of vehicles * Environmental messaging - We are working to ensure the sector is CO2 neutral ahead of government targets. * Youth engagement - Ownership, Skills, etc * Dispelling myths about the vehicles, promoting authenticity, promoting the sectors credentials of "Reuse, Repair and Recycle" Join the HCVA to ensure the long term sustainability of our sector and our passion for the classic vehicle
