Welcome to motilicares. My name is Matthew Sallee, and I’m a Colorado native and Denver resident looking to help those on the medical front lines and the businesses most impacted by the COVID-19 crisis here in Denver. I was inspirited to setup this campaign by Dr. Brandon White, a hospital physician in Birmingham, AL. He runs a similar program, BHMcares. Many (all?) hospital cafeterias have been affected and are operating on narrower hours. Often times healthcare providers aren’t able to go stand in line for food during these limited hours. This leads to our front line responders missing out on meals while providing critical care. Nobody wants a tired, overworked, and worse, hangry doctor or nurse taking care of them of their loved ones! Additionally, as Denver has moved to stay at home, restaurant staff are feeling the impact. This additionally provides them with business to sustain their operations while this pandemic passes, and hopefully keep them open. This is a coordinated campaign, with direct benefit to both the food service and medial industries in Denver, Colorado. 100% of proceeds benefit both directly. Finally, I’d like to thank everyone who’s participated in this campaign and donated time or money to this cause. We are especially thankful to our restaurant and delivery partners for providing these much needed services.
