HighSight also provides intensive tutoring, mentoring, leadership development, and college-readiness counseling, enabling students to succeed in high school and attend highly ranked colleges of their choice. While two-thirds of HighSight scholars enter the programs having been low- to moderately performing middle school students, 90% attain their high school honor roll and achieve, as a whole, an average GPA of 3.7. 100% of HighSight scholars attend a 4-year college, with 85% attending institutions in the top three (of seven) tiers of selectivity across the country. 75% graduate in four years, with nearly 90% graduating within 6 years, statistics that are seven times the national average for their peers in the same demographic groups. HighSight has provided over $7 million in scholarships to attend Chicago private schools over the years, andHighSight's staff works with our scholars and top-notch colleges and universities to secure $5.5 million annually in scholarships utilized by HighSight graduates. Many students receive full-tuition scholarships, with those who take out loans having less than half the average debt load for American college students.
