Tidal Medical Technologies was founded in 2020 by a group of engineers and emergency medicine physicians. Our first innovation, the InSee, is designed to help reduce pneumonia-related hospital readmission, by giving clinicians visibility to Incvetive Spirametery Patient Compliance. InSee is a patented sensor that works with existing Incentive Spirometers to monitor and promote patient compliance. Improved compliance can in turn lead to less hospital-acquired pneumonia. In United States, we spend more than $10 billion dollars annually on hospital readmissions. Millions of patients are returning to the hospital when they should be at home with their families. While the system is complex, the reasons for this waste usually are not. We believe that affordable, common-sense solutions can yield tremendous improvements and cost savings and that those solutions should be available to every patient in every community.
