Never in human history has entertainment been more global than it is today. The proliferation of online platforms has connected storytelling globally and spread the joy of entertainment to the corners of its existence. The amazing technology that allow us to share our stories would be nothing without the art that enables global enjoyment. Entertainment globalization is the artistic “retelling” of stories in local language and cultural foundation. Without this art, stories would be lost and entertainment dashed. The Entertainment Globalization Association (EGA) works to ensure this important part of entertainment evolves and supports the art of storytelling.
