Central Region Emergency Response Strike Team (CREST) was formed in 2006 and has quickly grown into one of the largest and most formidable and professional search and rescue teams in the Commonwealth. Serving Centre, Mifflin, Huntingdon, Blair, Clearfield, Clinton and Union counties, CREST is dispatched through the Centre County Emergency Communications Center and responds to other counties and states on a case-by-case basis for emergencies.
