Maybe it’s because I see room for improvement in every house, from the pretty near-perfect to the downright rundown. And over the past twenty-five years, I’ve built my residential architecture practice on helping homeowners realize the full potential of the houses among which I grew up. To that end, I design carefully considered residential architecture for a variety of situations and budgets. I provide services to homeowners who choose the experience of community in the suburbs while maintaining diverse cultural, professional or familial ties to New York City. When I started my practice, I made it my business to ennoble the common suburban house with innovative alterations and additions that balance function with aesthetics. To new house construction, I enthusiastically contribute my awareness of current design trends and knowledge of architectural history.
