Established in 1998, we are a specialist Investor Relations consultancy with extensive experience of working with companies of all sizes, from FTSE100 to AIM, to address the very important Private Client Investment Manager (PCIM) investor audience which manages over £850 billion in the UK. Even in larger companies, combined PCIM holdings can sometimes be as significant as leading fund managers. In any event, PCIM relationships should be managed as proactively as those with institutions, as part of a best-practice, all-inclusive IR programme, and we do this on behalf of larger companies without requiring a great deal of their time. In smaller or less-liquid companies, combined PCIM holdings can often already be significant, sometimes more than 10%. Even if they are not that large, the importance of proactively engaging with PCIMs on a consistent, national basis when trading volumes are relatively low cannot be overstated. We manage bespoke IR programmes that target, access and communicate with PCIMs on a genuinely national basis, and not just in London or a few other cities. We employ an integrated mix of direct and indirect strategies – any PCIM IR programme that only involves meetings, no matter how many, is by definition only scratching the surface and is an inefficient use of time and money.
