Not-So Royal Shakespeare Company

nsrsco.weebly.com

Shakespeare has been an integral part of life at Notre Dame since the University's founding in 1842, both within the classroom and without. The first full production of one of Shakespeare's plays occurred in 1864, "Henry IV Part I," on William Shakespeare's 300th birthday (x). The Not-So-Royal Shakespeare Company was restarted by Chris Kudlacz in 1997 as an effort to bring Shakespeare closer to Notre Dame's student body, and we've been doing so ever since. We produce, direct, design and perform with a cast and crew entirely made up of students. Keep an eye out for details about our upcoming shows, or read more about our past productions here.
