About DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia Since its humble beginning as International College of Automotive (ICAM) in April 2010, DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia became a full-fledged university in October 2015. Operating from a well facilitated 42-acre campus strategically located in the DRB-HICOM Automotive Complex in Pekan, the university now houses two faculties namely the Faculty of Engineering & Technology and Faculty of Business & Management. Currently the university offers 25 programmes from diploma, degree and post-graduate studies with emphasize on the automotive eco-system. The university’s unique curriculum offers a balanced blend between theory and practical using the concept of “University by the industry, for the industry”. Nestled within the DRB-HICOM group of companies with wide range of businesses ranging from banking, manufacturing & engineering, defence and property development; the curriculum are always mapped to the dynamism of the industry’s requirement and practices. The combination of technical knowledge and hands-on skill provided a much needed head start for the graduates starting their career in the industry.
