Heart English School is seeking candidates for ongoing positions in Japanese public Elementary/Junior High schools with locations all across eastern Japan, with the largest focus on the Kanto region in and near Saitama, in a wide range of environments. Contracts range in the number of working days and hours, so those looking for more freedom regarding working schedules may have an interest in addition to those wishing to work all school days. We are looking for candidates who would like to start working from April 2023 for the start of the new school year, and some positions require applicants fairly immediately, and we will be interested to hear from those at that time as well. The work involves the education and internationalization of Japanese young people in their own environment. ALTs teach during class time, but also eat with students at lunch, play with them during recess or sports practice, and in general, socialize with the children to give them the chance to use English naturally with a native speaker. The work is very rewarding and the chance to impact hundreds of lives is there, with the many joys and responsibilities that go along with it.
