Special Districts are limited purpose government assigned to specific geographic locations. FASD offers educational components and training that is critical to the managers and elected officials for special districts. This assures there is understanding of the subsequent responsibilities and knowledge of what can and can't be done as governed by the current Florida Statutes. It also acts on the behalf of their Special Districts by helping to familiarize new legislators with the purpose of Special Districts.
