The Academy of Ophthalmic Education (AOE) has been hosting continuing education seminars on both land and sea since 1994. AOE provides officially approved lectures for Optometrists, Opticians and Optometric Assistants. Optifair Canada Trade Show is a division of AOE and operates the largest industry trade show simultaneously and concurrently during AOE’s seminars. The support and sponsorship of industry suppliers has allowed AOE to maintain the most competitive seminar enrollment fees in the industry. AOE is the only organization in Canada wherein all varied eye care professions participate and mingle under one roof. Our faculty includes a host of respected specialists in the field of eye care including Ophthalmologists and Optometrists, many of whom teach at the University of Toronto, Department of Ophthalmology and related Optometry schools. We plan on continuing to play a major role in organized fund raising events for worthy organizations such as the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Our organization encourages and brings together all eye care providers in hopes of reaching the goal of eradicating blindness around the world in the near future.
