MJD Wellness and Community Center is a 501-C3 healthcare organization serving North Miami and surrounding cities in Miami Dade County. The program's focus is to identify and utilize resources for healthcare needs and address them as they are uncovered. The primary purpose is to educate our targeted population about healthcare issues that they face and challenge them to eat well and be part of a sound wellness program. We anticipate reducing chronic diseases among the targeted population. The program partners with different institutions including churches where screening and raw food distribution will take place
