Our company BERTOT S.p.A. is operating since 1919 in the field of hot forging of parts in steel and aluminum and their mechanical machining. We produce a vast range of components, even large formats, in a complete production cycle, internal and automated in each phase, from the design to the finished part, allowing an extremely short TTM. Thanks to the experience gained over the years and a high-tech 3D finite element forging simulator, our Engineering can offer you specific advice on finding the right solutions of form and appropriate raw materials to achieve optimized results either for new projects or to take components already in production to a new level of technology (e.g. switching from castings to forgings, and thus improving the quality characteristics of the parts). We are completely autonomous when it comes to the design and construction of the forging dies and mechanical machining tools. We count 6 forging lines equipped with the following mechanical presses: 1,600-tons – 3,150-tons – 4,000-tons - 6300 Tons and two 8,000-ton presses (a worldwide unique set of equipment). The above mentioned forging lines enable us to produce components in steel weighing from 0.100 kg up to150/160 kg, and in aluminum from 0.050 kg to 40/50 kg. Our mechanical machining department has 40 CNC. Thanks to a modern and flexible production system, we provide tailored solutions for both medium-sized companies and large corporations on a worldwide scale, operating in a variety of industrial sectors from oil and gas to automotive industries, from rail sector to cableways.
