Co-custodians David Doepel and Barbara Connell have purchased the historic Melville Park Farm in Brunswick Junction Western Australia. Bordering the Brunswick River the property boasts a fully restored homestead and original barn that both date to the 1880s. Together David and Barbara and creating the next chapter of the property. They are working towards building a cheese factory in the former disused dairy, a barrel room in the barn for their small batch distillery (up and running) and have a very productive new hectare of heirloom vegetables. There's also a small herd of dairy cattle (along with Fluffy the bull - which is an incredibly wrong name for a Black Angus bull) and Mac the guardian farm dog.
