The European Confederation of Search and Selection Associations (ECSSA) is the international federation for the leading professional bodies for the executive search industry. ECSSA promotes the highest professional standards for executive search and selection through the exchange of knowledge and best practice at the European level. ECSSA was formed in 2004 by SYNTEC (France), BDU (Germany) and ASSOCONSULT (Italy) and currently has members from across seven European nations. Members of ECSSA also include the professional associations FEDERGON (Belgium), AEBYS (Spain), FR2F (Luxembourg ) and REC (UK). The primary objectives of ECSSA are: • to develop the professional ethics and standards for the executive search and selection industry across Europe • to become a dynamic forum for networking and exchange of information and views between members and • to promote the views and interests of the executive search and selection industry amongst different European organisations.
