www1.uwe.ac.ukThe UWE Bristol Planning School has delivered high quality planning education for over 40 years and is one of the largest planning schools in the UK. It offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in planning, with each offering a unique student experience and fantastic graduate outcomes. Drawing from the experience and expertise of a diverse pool of staff, our approach is both applied and interdisciplinary focused. Much of what we do is embedded in the city of Bristol, the growth and diversity of which makes the city an excellent place to learn about planning. Bristol hosts forward-thinking local government and a vibrant planning consultancy sector with whom we regularly work with. We help to create and disseminate knowledge across the sector by working collaboratively with a range of public, private and voluntary sector partners. Research activity extends across several key areas, including: • Transport and Society • Sustainable urban environments • Governance of place • Major projects and infrastructure delivery • Planning theory, policy and practice • Smart cities transforming governance
