AREACH is a small, independent, 501©(3) charity that relies on an active board of directors, volunteers, and generous donors to provide assistance to an increasing number of youth who face extreme threats to a successful transition into adulthood. The mission of the program is to empower inner-city American youth to create self-confidence and promote non-violence through the introduction of emerging technologies mixed with entertainment and education. Our referrals only program accepts youth ages 14-24 with proper documentation from School Counselors, Youth Centers, Youth Court diversion programs and families in the community to ensure the individualized learning paths optimized for each learner are offered to the ones who need us most. AREACH believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. That’s why the organization immerses itself inside the under-served communities in metro Atlanta GA. If a youth group is approved we spend 8 weeks preparing those young boys and girls to meet the challenges of mental distractions followed by a 10-month hands-on mentorship that encourages highly impactful programs such as Khan Academy, Boys & Girls Club of America and more to deliver a wide variety of opportunities.
