While several aspects of road safety in the USA are being successfully fought by specialist groups, there are many aspects of traffic and highway safety which are missed by that approach. Two thing we at RS-USA are particularly keen to challenge are the lack of uniformity in the discipline between the 50 states and also the frequently inadequatye and even dangerously inaccurate that is being provided by government departments to road users -- particualarly to young drivers.
