We named our brewery in the spirit of a long-ago public works program, Works Progress Administration, established during the Great Depression to re-engage our country's greatest resource: its people. As a public benefit corporation located in Boise, Idaho, we are committed to brewing up social change and adding value to our community, as well as crafting world-class beers. That's what we call "Progress through Beer."
