Velorossa Design specializes in conceptualizing and crafting industrial-inspired furniture and lighting. With the goal of creating unique pieces that combine elements from the natural and the industrialized worlds, they extract beauty from the discarded; pushing past the limitations of mainstream design and function to evoke an emotional response. From vehicle transmissions to electric lawnmower motors, Velorossa prides themselves on incorporating as many recycled parts as possible into their designs. Nate & Mandie Fleming are the founders, visionaries and artisans of Velorossa Design. A husband and wife team, Mandie is the mind behind the aesthetics of their pieces. As the inventory of parts is ever-changing, so is Mandie's perspective. She is constantly pushing boundaries, bringing life and elegance to the neglected. Nate is a state of Oregon licensed electrician with a background in lighting and lighting design. He contributes the technical expertise to bring function and efficiency to each concept. Currently in development of a new take on high-efficiency LED technology to incorporate into their designs, Nate is in a perpetual state of innovation.
