IANUA was founded in 2010 with the aim of promoting and implementing higher education and research courses, qualifying and enhancing the excellence of the Genoese university. IANUA offers the most deserving and brilliant students the opportunity to undertake specific training activities parallel to ordinary university courses. The school carries out its activities in a coordinated and integrated manner with the overall university organization and is characterized by its openness to dialogue and cooperation with the outside world at the University of Genoa at both national and international level and in close collaboration with the economic, cultural and institutional framework of the Ligurian and Genoese territory. Mission: IANUA, in order to enhance the teaching of the University of Genoa and promote the development of scientific skills, the recognition of merit, and the development of higher education activities, supports and promotes the full development of capable and deserving young people offering them, in the phase of university studies, parallel and complementary highly qualified training courses, also in collaboration and with the contribution of institutions, organizations and companies, which enhance their personal skills, scientific and cultural enrichment as well as professional growth in both multi- and inter-disciplinary sense.
