Think of Abot Tala as a modern co-learning hub for teens ages 12 to 22. Our 21st century learners get personalized classes, holistic mentoring and they enjoy the freedom of a flexible schedule. We want to re-power our teen & young adult members so they can pursue their purpose with intention. Abot Tala is a Self-Directed Learning Center. It’s a space and a welcoming community where teens feel free to be themselves, to know themselves deeply and what makes them come alive. It’s an environment where they can discover and develop their gifts and talents, to soar towards goals and dreams they set for themselves within their own time and terms, and not other’s. Abot Tala has two programs: ABOT TALA HIGH Abot Tala High is for teens ages 12-18. They get to choose the classes & community activities they want based on their interests. They also have weekly or bi-monthly one-on-one mentoring sessions. The goal is for the teens to get to know themselves and what makes them come alive, all within a supporting and encouraging community. ABOT TALA LAUNCHPAD Launchpad is for teens and young adults ages 17-22. Throught Self-Directed, Interested-Led education and mentoring, Launchpad supports young people as they develop future-proof skills, connect to a thriving network of professionals, and take-on real-life passion projects. The goal is to launch their careers or start-ups. Abot Tala is member of the Liberated Learners network with centers across America based on North Star Self-Directed Learning for Teens.
