The International Academic School (IAS) was established in 1996 and its new building was opened in Shakhbut city (MFW 14, Street 8th, behind the Civil Defense) for the academic year 2016/2017. The new school building was built in accordance with the international standards. It is equipped with a security and safety equipment and enriched with modern resources and technologies that enhance the learning process and meet the requirements of the 21st century. The international Academic School adopts the American curriculum as an educational approach, it runs from the kindergartens [KG] to the high school [Grade 12] and the classrooms are separated after the fifth grade into special sections for boys and girls.
