Additional venues/festivals include in Montreal, the Festival du Monde Arabe, Festival Présence Autochtone, Festival Séfarade, Palais Montcalm de Québec, Koerner Hall/RCM and Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. • Collaborations with renown international artists include Naseer Shamma (Egypt), Marcel Khalifé et Charbel Rouhana (Lebanon), Rachid Zeroual (Morocco), Farida (Irak), Katia Guerreiro (Portugal), Lena Chamamyian (Syria), Sergio Puccini (Argentina). • Soundtracks for film and exhibitions include Canada, France, Singapore, Korea, Lebanon. Katia created the music for the permanent multi-media exhibit at the Burj-Dubaï Tower, the highest structure in the world. • Oktoécho is an award-winning ensemble. Nominations include the Canadian Folk Music Awards 2009 (World Music Album, Band and Instrumental Album of the Year); OPUS Awards -Jazz and World Music Album (2009, 2010, 2012) and laureate in 2019 for Saimaniq.
