Being a great admirer of Geoffrey Bawa's architecture, our founder, Ajith Wijeysekera, set out on the journey to create his own masterpiece together with Bawa. As a result, the iconic Blue Water Wadduwa was opened to travelers from around the world in 1998. Set in an ideal location and designed by a legendary architect, the hotel was way ahead of its time, and considered the best in Sri Lanka- and so our story began.
