We believe that connecting strong, positive, female role models with young women doesn't just change one thing … it changes EVERYTHING! Our mission at Her Honor Mentoring is to provide unique learning opportunities and resources for young women. Mentoring is our tool to bridge education and employment gaps. We connect the needs of our public education system with powerful resources in the business community. Her Honor Mentoring was developed by Nicole Sheindlin and Judith Sheindlin, as an innovative and pragmatic way to boost self-confidence in young women in the workplace and everyday life. Our Mentoring Model Her Honor 2.0 is a fresh approach to helping young women reach their full potential. The cornerstone of the approach is connecting mentees with dynamic mentors across a spectrum of industries. During weekly online meetings, mentoring pairs explore topics related to education, career, and financial literacy. Mentees, who are the first in their family to pursue higher education and eager for support along the way, gain valuable knowledge, critical 21st-century workforce skills, and the seeds of a robust professional network. The wisdom and experience of our mentors elevate this mentoring experience, helping mentees synthesize and apply information to their own lives. Mentoring is our innovative way of bridging education gaps with local business resources. Mentors and their companies embrace our mission that investing in young women is a critical component to building healthy, equitable, and resilient communities.
