Welcome to the official City of St. Croix Falls website. The bluffs and dalles of the wild and scenic St. Croix River form the backdrop of the City of St. Croix Falls. Located just an hour northeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul, St. Croix Falls is an ideal place to live, work and play.   The City of St Croix Falls, Wisconsin, population 2100, is a historic River Town located along the St Croix River at the junctions of US Hwy 8 with State Hwys 35 and 87 in western Wisconsin.  St Croix Falls is known as the City of Trails with access to the Gandy Dancer Trail, the Ice Age Trail, Woolly Mountain Bike Trail and a number of hiking trails through local parks, Wisconsin Interstate Park and the St Croix National Scenic River Way.   The July 29 Council Meeting will be rescheduled as we will not have a quorum tonight. We are working to determine a replacement date. The Board of Public Works meeting for 5 pm is still on.
