Support for Information Technology Center is an independent human rights organization founded as an initiative in 2004 and has taken an institutional structure in 2006. Its main work focuses on the promotion of the right to knowledge and freedom of information in Egypt by working in research, advocacy and training in order to promote freedom of information, transparency and accountability, and independence of the media.
