First Star Recycling was founded in 1997 and opened its first location in June 1998 in Fremont, Nebraska with 3 employees. Since 1998 First Star has grown into one of the premiere recycling processors in the region employing over 100 employees. Now in its 15th year of operation First Star now provides recycling services and solutions to companies in nearly every industry including food processing, manufacturing, printing, document destruction, injection molding, agriculture and many more. First Star specializes in providing companies recycling options that reduce their dependence on landfills, ultimately seeking zero waste.
