The Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 was established in 2002 to obtain financial and other resources for the 13 schools of District 58. Our mission is educational enrichment for District 58 children by: 1) Enhancing academic skill development 2) Encouraging education innovation and creativity 3) Encouraging school-community partnerships Our current programs include: Annual Grants - significant annual contribution to technology, innovation, staff development, and curriculum enrichment. Select 58 - award recognizing the outstanding community contributions of 8th grade students Sneak Preview - middle school orientation for 6th graders Distinguished Service Awards - recognizing district staff who go above and beyond Reaching New Heights - gift each year to school principals.
