Tim has been at the forefront of developments in networked audio acting as Chair of Networked Audio for the Audio Engineering Society's 133rd, 135th, 137th and 139th conventions and as editor of the "Emerging Trends Report" for the AES Technical Committee on Networked Audio Systems. He is an AES Fellow and currently a Governor of the AES.
