Tex Town Limited is an export-oriented and 100% vertically-integrated RMG industry. Having started operations with 250 members of staff in 1991, the company now comprises of 5000 members who forms the backbone of the company. Tex Town Limited specialises in knit garment items and it’s integrations include the following: Knitting, Dyeing, R&D Sample Department, In-House Laboratory, Printing, Embroidery and Washing. The company also manufactures Accessories and Trims for own use and supplies to local manufacturers. Certifications that are in the process of being acquired include Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP). With expansion and additional backward-linkage plans in the pipeline, Tex Town Limited aims to become more competitive in the market to sustain the greater challenges that the industry is facing. Some of the concerns the company aims to address during these changes include reverse-osmosis technology for the existing in-house ETP, expanding capacity, increasing efficiency and productivity by leveraging automation.
