The company began as SEC-registered business MLA Freight International Inc (MFII) in July 1990; operating as a Customs Brokerage, tariff consultancy, marine insurance and other delivery related services to its clients. Having established itself in the local scene and in response to the demand from clients who also have international operations. MLA undertook the incorporation of MLA World Transport Inc., a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) providing freight forwarding, cargo consolidation and break bulk agency. Together, the MLA Group provides a one-stop shop logistics services specifically catered to the needs of Manila-based importers and exporters.
