WWSU 106.9 is a student-run, non-profit, open-format, educational station set up to meet the interests of the Wright State University student, alumni, and faculty population. Since 1977 WWSU has served the Beavercreek, Fairborn, Dayton communities and has even a further reach with our online internet stream. WWSU has helped to act as a broadcast training facility for communications and non-communications majors alike. At WWSU, we strive for inclusion with a diverse range of music, talk shows, and variety shows. As an open format radio station, we give the DJs their options of music, while still adhering to FCC guidelines as well as the Wright State University guidelines. In 2010, WWSU was voted Best In Dayton and strives to maintain a high level of quality in the work and services provided. WWSU was the original sports voice for the Mens and Womens basketball teams and we continue to hold pride in our sports department. We broadcast all home basketball games and we also now broadcast for baseball, soccer teams, volleyball, and softball.
