Association “Belarusian Football Federation” was founded in 1989; since 1993 it has been a member of UEFA, taking part in international competitions under the auspices of the Union both at the club and international levels. The ABFF is responsible for organizing and controlling key football events in the country, developing football infrastructure, maintaining the image of football as the number one game in the republic, as well as promoting football both domestically and abroad.
