STEPS Public Art is a cultural charitable organization that fosters vibrant and connected communities through one-of-a-kind public artworks, installations and mural projects across Canada. Our team can connect you with artists, facilitate calls-for-artists, design inclusive cultural projects and generate solutions to public space challenges. We use art to connect people with public spaces by: leading community art and public space revitalizations; building youth capacity in community and school settings; creating opportunities for local artists to exhibit in the public realm; articulating creative solutions to urban challenges with diverse voices; and supporting emerging community initiatives, the leaders behind them, and the spaces needed for them to flourish! STEPS also operates an award-winning social enterprise called The PATCH Project that transforms construction hoarding sites into public art exhibitions with our curated roster of Canadian artists to improve the urban experience for local residents and visitors!
