We are UK based registered social enterprise focused on making textiles a platform for change towards a kinder world. We partner with businesses deliver their textile needs whilst also delivering impact against your ESG goals. We also aim to influence culture change through our campaigning and events, including running the Where Does It Come From? podcast. Our key focus points are: • Total Traceability: We share the whole supply chain story, exploring the processes we use and getting to know the people involved. We were one of the first to do this! • Fair and ethical production, right back to the fibre: Since we started in 2013 our work in India has assisteWe do this through partnering with social enterprises to access the people who need the most support. We partner with social enterprises in India, Africa and the UK to create our products, including co-operatives, artisan groups and Fairtrade workshops. • Truly sustainable materials, processes, production and business: - Fibres - 100% natural plastic-free fibres such as cotton, hemp or bamboo. Organic rain fed cottons are our favourite fabrics! - Low carbon and water fabric production - including hand spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing. - Circular design projects such as upcycling - Zero waste where possible - including using offcuts for items like scrunchies. - The business uses eco packaging and our website is hosted on a wind powered server farm.
