Snohomish County Football Club is a nonprofit soccer club building community around the sport of soccer in Snohomish County, Washington, USA. Founded in 2017. Member of the Cascadia Premier League (CPL), Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) and Northwest Premier League Indoors. (NWPLi). 2019 CPL Champions. Our mission is to provide educational, physical wellness, training, programming, and events for such purposes benefiting diverse & under-served youth and adult athletes in Snohomish County and surrounding areas. Our club values: - Physical and Mental wellness to promote the longevity of health - Socio-Economic Diversity to best represent the community we serve, enabling those who have not had a voice or a chance to play at a high level those opportunities. - Equity in our training, tryouts, events, and operations. For those who do not have the means to partake, we ensure that they have the tools and resources to be able to have the same opportunities as those who do have the means. We believe at the end of the day, one of our goals is to disrupt the norms of non-diverse communities, in a productive way. Establishing and building upon new and existing connections to help build more diverse representation in those communities. We want to ensure that no matter what background humans come from, there are ways to connect with groups that have not been able, and we think that soccer is the way to do that. Second, the impact we want to have is to make sure we can provide a healthy option and outlet for people to express themselves both physically, mentally, and emotionally, especially as we see a rise in mental health awareness. We want to fully support healthy outlets especially since members of our club and community have been impacted by these challenges in their own lives.
