Themy is a performance coaching company dedicated to a new approach to leading, one that puts humans at the center rather than more of the same obtuse jargon we've been fed for the last 50 years. My approach emphasizes purpose, people, adaptability, EQ and relationships. Together, those aspects lead to phenomenal financial performance and individual fulfillment. My story is all about resilience and overcoming adversity. I went from living in a rundown motel in West Virginia to CEO for private equity-backed companies. I was born to be a change agent. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been committed to transforming ‘good enough’ to better. I was born into poverty, abuse and dysfunction and survived a horrific sexual assault at the age of 5. My reason for being is teaching others how to transform from survivor to thriver mode. I specialize in working with female founders and executives. Put simply, I want more fulfilled women in leadership positions. I teach female founders how to run better businesses and have a life. I train female executives how to blaze a path to the C-suite. Many of my clients have set their sights on the CEO role. I can help make that happen because I've been there. I started my career as a research analyst and became a marketing executive. At the time, I was one of the youngest CMO's in the media and entertainment industry, eventually leading marketing for HGTV. After 8 years at the top of my game in marketing, I wanted more. I left a toxic environment and pursued a distinct path to CEO. I learned a lot along the way, and I'm ready to teach that to you. I also work with women who need a recharge. They're burned out, bored out and sick of toxic environments. I can tell you from personal experience: it is possible to have a career you love and a personal life that fulfills you.
