Better Place International (BPI) is a non-profit organization funded in 2014 BPI is committed to improving healthcare services in today’s emerging markets of sub-Saharan Africa, where operations can be started anew, from the ground-up. We are invested in creating a powerful and actionable agenda for change that will leapfrog over existing obstacles and thrust Africa’s healthcare delivery into the future. BPI is a catalyst, an agent of positive change in the world of healthcare services. We are leveraging our resources across related healthcare sectors and are integrating momentum into the processes of change, to design and plan future healthcare facilities that will be structurally eco-sustainable, optimized with nature, and fitted for the delivery of sustainable patient-centric services within Africa's communities. BPI is working with medical charity organizations (IOs, ROs, IGOs and NGOs) to help optimize their service delivery. Using today's model, medical charity organizations have to mobilize thousands of healthcare providers to deliver care in Africa and thousands of containers to move equipment. To reduce such waste, we offer a platform that improves their efficiency; reducing medical device logistics and maximizing equipment utilization in a eco-sustainable healthcare environment. The result is better resources allocation (e.g. money from donations to manpower), which can be used to deliver thousands of additional hours of value-based healthcare delivery.
