Over the past decade, Ridley has become the leader in historical retro-fit of windows and doors in designated heritage buildings and districts. We have developed an approach that is fully supported by the leading historical architectural firms in Ontario such as ERA, (1 Spadina) Streetcar Developments (Broadview Hotel) to name a few. Our approach includes replication, a quality product and a unique method of installation. It maintains the integrity of the original design of the building while providing all the performance advantages of a modern wood window. To date, all of our historical retro-fit projects have been supported by the Toronto Preservation Services. When restoring a window is not feasible, our process is uniquely qualified to suit any heritage designation.
