Formerly established as MHA Geotechnical in 2015, the client base and scope of work afforded to a specialist geotechnical consultancy was quickly outgrown. The ongoing needs of our clients dictated that our capabilities should extend into all aspects of mining – from resource definition and pre-feasibility level studies to detailed design, construction, and operations. In mid-2018 we began the process of incorporating MHA Geotechnical into REC – Resource Engineering Consultants, becoming an employee-owned consulting firm based in Perth, Western Australia. Our team includes engineers, geologists and environmental scientists who are all focused on creating value at every stage of the mining life cycle through quality-driven, sustainable and cost-effective solutions.
